Sizes and prices
Every print price includes shipping and the digital file of your portrait. Sizes are width by height for an upright portrait; a wide portrait uses the same size turned on its side.
At 12 x 16 in, 18 x 24 in and 30 x 40 in, the print is a slightly different shape from your portrait, so about 7 percent of the picture is trimmed from its long edges. At every other size, less than 1 percent is trimmed.

Framed canvas, canvas or paper
- Framed canvas
- The canvas, set in a solid-wood float frame in the colour you choose. It arrives ready to hang, and the frame gives it a finished edge.
- Canvas
- Your portrait printed on canvas and stretched over 38 mm wooden bars. The picture is mirrored around the sides, so all of it stays on the front. It arrives ready to hang without a frame.
- Fine-art print
- Your portrait on 200gsm matte art paper, unframed. Choose it if you already own a frame or want to pick one in a shop; it needs a frame before it goes on the wall.
Keep any finish out of direct sun. Dust a canvas with a dry cloth, never a damp one or a cleaning spray.

Questions
Which size should I choose?
Measure the space first, then compare it with the outside sizes above. A 12 x 16 in framed canvas measures about 13.5 x 17.25 in outside. Over a desk, on a shelf or beside a doorway, where you see it up close. A 16 x 20 in framed canvas measures 17.5 x 21.25 in outside. On its own above a console, a dresser or a hall table. A 24 x 30 in framed canvas measures about 25.5 x 31.25 in outside. Above a sofa or a bed, where you see it from across the room.
How big is a framed canvas on the wall?
On a 16 x 20 in framed canvas from a real order, the frame adds 1.5 inches across and 1.25 inches top to bottom, so it measures 17.5 x 21.25 in (44 x 54 cm) outside. The other sizes use the same frame, so their outside sizes are close estimates. The wall picture above shows every framed size to scale beside a door 80 inches tall.
Which frame colour should I pick?
Pick the colour that sits best with the wood and paint in the room. Every colour costs the same (black, white, natural wood or brown), and the order step shows your own portrait in the frame you pick before you pay.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
The framed canvas and the canvas arrive ready to hang. The fine-art print arrives unframed, so it needs a frame of your own before it goes on the wall.
Can I see my portrait before I pay?
Yes. Upload a photo and you see a free preview with a watermark, with no account and no email needed. Change it as many times as you like. You pay only when you order, and the print is made from the portrait you approved, with a thin strip trimmed from the edges on some sizes.
