Plain and simple: your photos are yours, they stay private, and they are only ever used to create your pet's portraits.
What we collect
Your account email, the pet photos you upload, the portraits we generate for you, your credit balance and purchase history, and basic usage events (like which styles get picked) so we can improve the product.
What your photos are used for
One thing: creating your pet's portraits. Your photos are never used to train AI models, never sold, and never shared with anyone except the AI services that generate your portrait.
Who processes your data, and where
Your account and photos are stored with Supabase in Montréal, Canada. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. To create a portrait, your photo is sent to Google (Gemini) or OpenAI for processing. The site runs on Vercel, and we use Vercel Analytics for anonymous traffic statistics.
How long we keep it
Your uploads and portraits stay in your private gallery so you can come back to them. You can ask us to delete your account and every photo at any time, and we complete deletions within 30 days.
Your rights (Québec Law 25)
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@petportrait.photo. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is Chris Pantelis, reachable at the same address. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
