How much does a custom pet portrait cost?
A framed canvas starts at $145 USD, a canvas at $99 USD and a fine-art print at $59 USD, shipping included. The price depends on the size you pick. The digital file alone is $29 USD, and it comes free with every print. See every size and price.
How do I turn my pet's photo into a portrait?
Choose a style, upload one clear photo of your pet and the free preview appears on screen. You can add up to 3 photos from different angles. If you like the preview, order it as a framed canvas, a canvas or a print, or take the digital file. If not, try again in the same style.
Is it painted by hand, or made with AI?
It is made with AI. An image model creates the portrait from your photo, in a style we designed and tested ourselves. No one paints it by hand. You see the exact image before you pay, and the print is made from that same image.
Will it look like my pet?
You see for yourself before you pay: the free preview is the portrait we would print, with a thin strip trimmed from the edges on some sizes. Your pet's markings, face shape and eye color are read from your photo before the portrait is made. If something is off, try again in the same style, as many times as you like. What sizes are there, and how big are they on a wall?
Sizes run from 8 x 10 inches to 30 x 40 inches, depending on the finish. The framed canvas comes in 12 x 16 inches, 16 x 20 inches and 24 x 30 inches. At 16 x 20 inches, the framed canvas measures 17.5 x 21.25 inches (44 x 54 cm) outside. The canvas comes in 12 x 16 inches, 16 x 20 inches, 18 x 24 inches, 24 x 30 inches and 30 x 40 inches, and the fine-art print in 8 x 10 inches, 12 x 16 inches, 16 x 20 inches and 18 x 24 inches. What does the frame look like?
A solid-wood float frame with a thin face, 3/8 inch wide, and a narrow gap around the canvas, so the picture looks as if it floats. There is no mat and no glass. It comes in black, white, natural wood and brown, all at one price, and arrives ready to hang. See the frames.
How long does delivery take?
To the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, a print arrives 5 to 10 business days after you order. To the EU countries we ship to, it takes 7 to 14 business days. To the other countries on the list, it takes 11 to 20 business days. Shipping is included, and the exact window for your country shows before you pay. Your digital file is ready to download on screen right after payment.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship prints to 18 countries. Orders to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia are printed in the same country. The 8 EU countries are printed in the Netherlands, with VAT included. In the other 6, the courier or customs may bill duties on delivery, and we say so before you pay. The shipping guide lists every country. If yours is not listed, the digital file works anywhere, and any print shop can print it.
What if my print arrives damaged or wrong?
We reprint it free. Send us a photo within 14 days and we send a new one. If a reprint is not possible, we refund it. Read the refund policy.
Can I get a portrait of a pet who has died?
Yes. One good photo is enough, even an old or imperfect one. There is no rush at any step: the preview is free, and you decide when, or whether, to order. The memorial page shows the quiet styles made for this.
What photo works best for a pet portrait?
A sharp, well-lit photo where your pet's face fills most of the frame and the eyes are in focus. Daylight on the face beats a flash or a bright window behind your pet. One photo is enough, and you can add up to 3. See photo examples.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. Set the delivery country in your cart and enter your recipient's address at checkout, and the print goes straight to them in plain packaging. The link to the digital file goes to the email you order with. Delivery takes the same time as for any order.
Can I buy just the digital file?
Yes, for $29 USD. It is a 4K, print-ready file with no watermark, and it is included free with every print. You download it on screen right after payment, and we email you the same links. Lost the link? Find my files sends it again.
Can I mix sizes or frames in one order?
Not in one order. Everything in an order has the same size and frame. For a different size or frame, place a second order.
