About this style

A loose, full-color oil painting of your pet's eyes and ears peeking up over the edge, close and large, on a dark, warm gray ground.

Painted Peek paints just the top of your pet's head rising into view from the bottom edge of the canvas: both ears, the eyes and the nose, with the frame cutting across the face just below the nose. Thick, confident, directional brushstrokes in rich, natural color build the fur and loosen toward the outline, while a warm amber rim of light traces the ears and the edge of the coat, so even a dark coat stands clear of the dark, warm gray painted ground. A portrait that is all about the eyes.

Perfect forCurious cats and watchful dogs, dark coats that deserve to glow, a gift for someone whose pet is always peering over the edge of the sofa.
